why most people failed in a business

Over the years, i had met a lot of people asking me this questions. I have couple of thousand dollar, what business can i invest in? Any good recommendation?

I ask him back " why you want to do a business? "
He answered me " I don't want to work anymore, i bored of working"
I ask again " any other reason?"
I answered " I want to be boss now, i want to scold back my staff, i had enough scold by boss everyday!"
That's the main reason why most people want to do business. Huh!!! Surprise?
There is a lot in the market , no big deal.
If a person with just a couple of thousand dollar can easily success in a business, then i think this world would not have any poor people, especially in america. right? make sense?
Is not a money matter, even you have millions dollar capital, it doesn't guarantee of suceess.
The success factors are just too complex.

I have a friend who work in a very high position in an international company. He is doing very well in his company. He is a top sales person. Then, his friend told him, why ot you setup a business yourself instead working for people. since you are so great in this industry. Hmmm, you are right, why i so stupid and never thought of that. Thank you for telling me this. Ok, i'm going to start up a new business for myself. YOu know what happen 6 months later? He lost all his money in the bank account. The hard earned money for half of his life. Gone after 6 months.

Success is not just a matter of how good you doing sales, of course, that is one of the most improtant criteria. But there are more.......
